Immoos was founded in 1997 in Oberarth in the heart of Central Switzerland and laid the foundation for their successful evacuation systems in the same year with the Type A drive.
Thanks to our many years of experience and our expertise – a large part of our team consists of cable car industry specialists – we have since launched numerous products and services. They are constantly being developed further and are used in over 60 countries worldwide.
With the SS1 cable carriage, we have succeeded in revolutionizing cable car evacuation in the long term.

Certified quality
Immoos receives the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for their quality management. In the course of the certification, the company structures and processes are optimized and the introduction of the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) was implemented.
New logo for the 20th anniversary
On February 1st we celebrated our 20th company anniversary. Reason enough to redesign our company logo and appearance and to replace the previous tagline with “evacuation and safety solutions”.
Company handover to Florian Immoos
Company founder Beat Immoos hands over Immoos to his nephew Florian Immoos as of January 1, 2013. The business will continue unchanged. Beat Immoos thanks the customers, authorities, employees and suppliers for the successful cooperation.
The first round anniversary

Foundation of the subsidiary “Immoos Bergungs- und Sicherheitssysteme GmbH” based in Lauterach, Austria.
Sole proprietorship becomes GmbH
The constantly changing economic conditions since the company’s foundation require a transformation of the sole proprietorship into a limited liability company: Immoos GmbH Salvage and Safety Systems, based in Oberarth, Switzerland.
Beat Immoos lays the foundation stone
Beat Immoos founds his company “Immoos Bergungs-Technik” and specializes in products and services in the field of cable car evacuation and personal protection against falls. His extensive knowledge is based on over 25 years of experience in the field of cable car technology and cable car evacuation. He now wants to independently offer efficient safety solutions that are tailored to the needs of the customers.
