Self-driven cable carriage that allows movement on wire ropes without a safety rope. An integrated centrifugal brake regulates the travel speed to 1.8 m/s. Additionally, the device has a hand brake for speed reduction and a dead man’s brake that automatically engages in case of operator incapacitation. Various drives for overcoming flat cable spans or light uphill travel are available as accessories.
